Therapy

The cause of an orthopaedic condition is often complex, with several factors involved. After a detailed medical history, a thorough examination and diagnosis, we discuss the respective treatment options together.

Because there is often more than one alternative to treatment. Surgery should only be considered if conservative treatment is unsuccessful. For this reason, we do not perform any surgical procedures ourselves. Instead, we achieve very good results with our conservative and holistic therapy. We work with methods that are efficient and largely free of undesirable side effects.

The primary goal of every treatment is to relieve and/or eliminate pain and thus achieve a lasting improvement in quality of life.

We combine methods of conventional medicine with proven alternative medical healing methods. Our therapy principle is individual, multimodal and holistic, depending on the clinical picture.

Removing the acute pain is always just the first step. Depending on the diagnosis and the patient's wishes, the acute treatment is followed by a jointly agreed therapy plan.

As part of a therapy program that usually lasts several weeks, we combine blood plasma injections with targeted shock wave applications in various forms. Our practice is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy devices, including a traction table for the back that we developed ourselves, which specifically targets the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebrae. Holistic therapy also includes manual applications such as chiropractic, cupping, the use of kinesio tapes and heat ointments, as well as acupuncture.

Our patients include all age groups from toddlers to seniors, competitive athletes as well as office workers, schoolchildren, professionals, and retirees.

According to the law, it is not possible to obtain health insurance approval for orthopedics, as the field is closed to new practices nationwide.

Unfortunately, this means that modern holistic medicine is a service that must be paid for out of pocket, but we strive to make it affordable for every patient in our practice. A therapy session (medical history, examination, and treatment) usually costs around EUR 30.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about the costs of therapy. From time to time, there are also differences of opinion among private health insurance companies regarding the billing of services.

In the event of discrepancies, we will also personally engage in dialogue with your case worker to ensure that our patients receive (paid) therapy that is sensible, effective, and sustainable.
