Head and neck

Do you suffer from headaches, migraine attacks, or dizziness? There is often more than one cause for these symptoms, such as stress and tension, psychosomatic reasons, or hormonal imbalances. In the majority of patients, the problems can be traced back to blockages in the cervical spine.

Through a thorough examination and with the help of X-ray images from our practice's own digital X-ray machine, we determine the causes that can lead to dizziness and/or migraines.

If we detect blockages, we treat them not only with chiropractic therapy but also holistically. We have also had very good experience with the use of shock waves, both focused and radial, in the neck area. By stimulating the metabolism, we achieve increased blood circulation and thus achieve a particularly high level of treatment effectiveness. I combine this with trigger point therapy, acupuncture, kinesiology tape, and, depending on the severity of the symptoms, injections into the cervical spine and/or neck muscles. The patient decides!

As part of acute pain therapy, cortisone and/or herbal anti-inflammatory drugs and various muscle relaxants if desired. There are various substances to choose from, and we will discuss their benefits and effectiveness together.

Unlike conventional treatment, as you may already be familiar with from other orthopedic practices, our therapy does not end with a single injection of these substances. If the patient responds positively to the treatment concept, this means good prospects for the success of a holistic regenerative treatment, which then follows.

Depending on the duration and severity of the symptoms, acute treatment is used for immediate symptom relief. The actual therapy only takes place afterwards, where other orthopedists stop due to a lack of experience and/or possibilities. This is the approach of my holistic and multimodal medicine. Over a period of up to two months with two appointments per week, we treat the respective areas. The SpineMed back table is used for this, followed by shock wave therapy. Collagen and blood plasma injections in combination with muscle infiltrations (Traumeel, Zeel, Ortoton, Myopridin, etc.), acupuncture, kinesio tapes, and the application of special heat ointments that are not available in Germany complement the therapy.

After completion of acute therapy, our in-house team of physiotherapists offers you individually tailored follow-up treatment, which allows you to actively contribute to maintaining the treatment success achieved in the long term.
