Foot

Many patients suffer from foot problems. These are often caused by incorrect weight distribution, which can be quickly and effectively remedied with a customised insole. If the patient reports pain in both feet, this is usually due to a static problem. Among the most well-known and common foot problems are, in addition to deformities, Achilles tendon problems, plantar fascia inflammation, and plantar or dorsal heel spurs.

We measure the patient and create a pelvic overview image to identify any leg length discrepancy and thus any tilting of the pelvis. A genuine leg length discrepancy can only be determined in an X-ray image based on various criteria. This must then be compensated for by raising the affected side, as the static imbalance can cause a chain of symptoms or complaints in various areas of the body.

To do this, we use our own digital radiological diagnostic equipment, as well as the 4D Motion Lab from DIERS. We take both static and dynamic impressions.

We use custom-made insoles to compensate for the difference in leg length. This prevents the pelvis from tilting and thus corrects the excessive and/or incorrect strain on the entire body. All steps, from measuring the foot to delivering the custom-made insoles, can be carried out in proven cooperation with our experienced insoles and orthotics experts in our practice on site. For this purpose, the insoles can be individually adapted at any point, depending on the respective anatomy of the foot, to provide form-fitting support and/or correction as well as stimulation (sensomotor), to meet the respective requirements. This saves our patients unnecessary travel and waiting times.
